BOX SCORE

When and Where: September 13, 2016 – Waltham, Mass. (Bentley Soccer Field)
Score:
Southern New Hampshire University 4, Bentley University 0
Records: SNHU 3-0 (1-0 NE-10), Bentley 0-3 (0-1 NE-10)

Graduate student Rayane Boukemia (Strasbourg, France) dished out three assists and the defense only allowed one shot on goal as the fourth-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team blanked Bentley University, 4-0, Tuesday afternoon.

One game after scoring three goals en route to being named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week on Monday, Boukemia showed his versatility by setting up three different teammates for first-half goals.

Boukemia began the scoring in the 27th minute when he made a run into the box and played the ball off to freshman Romain Daniellou (Brieuc, France), who sent a shot from the top of the box inside the far post to make it 1-0.

The Penmen doubled their lead late in the 34th minute as redshirt-junior Ryan Reynolds (Springfield, Mass.) collected a through-ball from Boukemia in the middle of the box and found the back of the net.

Boukemia capped off his hat trick of assists with a corner service into the box where sophomore Claude Diesse (Brossard, Quebec) tucked a header inside the near post to run the score to 3-0 just 49 seconds before halftime.

SNHU closed the scoring in the 67th minute when senior Enzo Giuliani (Toulouse, France) streaked down the right side and blasted a shot that ricocheted in off the post to expand the advantage to 4-0.

Notes:
-Graduate goalkeeper Nick Zucco (Ludlow, Mass.) stopped the only shot he faced in the first half to run his personal shutout streak to 786:02, dating back to last season. Sophomore Danny Milton (Ajax, Ontario) did not see a shot in the second half.
-The Penmen themselves have not allowed a goal in the last 894:52, which spans nine full matches.
-Southern New Hampshire begins the year 3-0 for the third straight season, while the 13 goals are the most through the first three matches of the year since 2014 when the Penmen potted 14 goals en route to starting 3-0.
-SNHU outshot Bentley, 12-3, including 8-1 in the second stanza stanza, while the Falcons held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
-Harrison Rapant stopped two of the six shots he faced over the opening 74:15 of action for Bentley, while Liam McCarthy made two saves in the final 15:45.
