Senior Michael Rowley (Cooperstown, N.Y.) snapped a 1-1 tie in the 62nd minute, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team picked up a big, 2-1 road victory against the College of Saint Rose on Saturday at Sullivan Field.

With the match even at one, sophomore Romain Daniellou (Brest, France) sent a long cross from the right flank to Rowley, who took one touch and put the ball past Saint Rose goalkeeper Gianni Carillo, to give Southern New Hampshire a 2-1 lead.

Junior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) came up with a big save 30 seconds later and would not be tested the rest of the way.

Milton made five saves, while Carillo stopped two shots.

Locked in a scoreless tie late in the 34th minute, SNHU jumped on the board first when junior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) hit a line drive into the back of the net, following a feed from the right flank by sophomore Chaney Nash-Gibney (So. Burlington, Vt.).

The Golden Knights would net the equalizer just 2:04 before halftime when Elidon Bardhollari's individual effort to eliminate a pair of Penmen defenders allowed him to beat Milton from in close.

Notes:
- Southern New Hampshire has now won five straight.
- The victory assures SNHU will be no lower than the No. 5 seed in the Northeast-10 Championship.
- Satrustegui's goal was his 14th of the year in his first season with the Penmen, while Rowley's was his sixth of the season and the 16th of his career.
- Southern New Hampshire held an 18-14 advantage in shots, including 11-7 in the second stanza, as well as a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
- SNHU is now 81-10-7 (.862) over its last 98 matches dating back to the beginning of the 2013 National Championship season.
