- Southern New Hampshire jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the second set and held a 20-13 advantage when a 5-0 spurt – sparked by a pair of kills from Camille Garden – pulled the Chargers to within 20-18. The Penmen still led by two at 24-22 when a Lippincott kill evened the match.
- New Haven owned a 9-8 edge in set No. 3 when a 13-3 run – with three kills from Mallory Nowicki – ballooned the lead to 22-11. SNHU would notch three of the next four points, before a Garden kill and Penmen attack error moved the Chargers back in front in the match, 2-1.
- The visitors seized an 11-4 advantage out of the gate in the fourth set before a 5-2 spurt – with a pair of kills from Castro – crept the Penmen to within 13-9. The margin was 20-11 when SNHU ripped off a 7-1 run – with two kills each from Bat and Castro – to make it 21-18.
