Seniors Shawn Montague (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Eamonn Joyce (Medford, Mass.) combined for 44 points Wednesday night, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball team posted an 83-64 win against Saint Michael's College at the Ross Sports Center.

KEY MOMENTS
- SNHU held a five-point margin with a little over nine minutes to play in regulation when it ripped off a 21-7 run - with eight points from Montague and six from Almonacy - to grab its largest lead of the game at 80-61 with just under two minutes to go. Three of Montague's points came when he flushed an alley-oop from Long over two Saint Michael's defenders and completed the three-point play at the line.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Walker Storey (5-11 FG, 3-8 3-FG, 1-2 FT) and Kasai Brown (4-6 FG, 1-2 3-FG, 4-4 FT) paced the Purple Knights with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
- The Penmen outshot the Purple Knights, 56.9 percent (33-58) to 39.3 percent (24-61), including 40 percent (10-25) to 34.5 percent (10-29) from downtown.
- Saint Michael's shot it much better from the line on half as many attempts, 75 percent (6-8) to 43.8 percent (7-16).
- The Penmen won the glass (35-30) and the paint (44-26), collected more points off turnovers (29-5), and featured a better assist-to-turnover ratio (15/13-12/14), while the Purple Knights gathered more second chance points (13-5).

- Southern New Hampshire has now captured two straight wins.
- SNHU improves to 37-14 all-time versus Saint Michael's and has won eight of the last 10 meetings.
- Montague is averaging 23.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game over his last three.
- Joyce and Almonacy have scored in double figures in seven of eight contests this season.
