Juliana Pacini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) tallied up a match-high 15 kills to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team to a 3-1 road upset of crosstown-rival Saint Anselm College on Tuesday night at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. Set scores were 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.

KEY MOMENTS
- Trailing, 1-0, in the match and, 10-7, in the second set, Southern New Hampshire came alive, as three Pacini kills powered a 9-1 rush that put the Penmen in front, 16-11. After Saint Anselm trimmed the deficit to one, SNHU responded with a 9-3 run - with two more Pacini kills - to even the match at 1-1.
- The Penmen held a 21-20 edge in the third set when a Pacini kill set off a run of four straight points that ended the set and put the visitors up, 2-1 in the match. Senior Grace Pierce (Fairfax, Va.) added a kill and a block during the stretch.
- In the fourth, with the score tied at 20-all, Thawnghmung buoyed a 5-3 flurry with three kills, including the match clincher.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Pierce chipped in two kills, three digs and three blocks.
- SNHU outhit Saint Anselm in each of the final three sets, as well as .188-.168 for the match.
- The Hawks held advantages in blocks (6-5) and aces (8-4).
NOTES
- SNHU's 7-6 start to the season is its best since the 2014 campaign.
- Southern New Hampshire hands Saint Anselm its first home loss of the season (7-1) and snaps its nine-match home winning streak that dated back to 2019. It is the first home loss for the Hawks since Nov. 16, 2019.
- Saint Anselm, which swept SNHU, 3-0, back on Sept. 21, had won eight of the previous nine meetings, including four straight, entering the day.
- Southern New Hampshire halts a four-match road losing streak against the Hawks, leaving Stoutenburgh with a win for the first time since Sept. 9, 2015 (3-0).
