Junior Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic) did not lose a game all afternoon and clinched the match with a No. 2 singles win, to help lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team to a 7-0 blanking of Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon at the Penmen Stadium Tennis Courts.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Hubickova made quick work of Abby Adelmann at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0, to clinch the match. She also clinched the doubles point with senior Elizabeth Dwyer (Cutchogue, N.Y.) at No. 3 with a 6-0 shutout of Bree Cotroneo and Emma Posada.
- Graduate student Natalie Kallmunzerova (Prague, Czech Republic) also recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles versus Ava Albis, while teaming with senior Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) for a 6-0 No. 1 doubles triumph over Elly McKenna and Annie Serkes.
- Junior Isabella Andrade (Cochabamba, Bolivia) was also a 6-0, 6-0 winner against Cotroneo at No. 3 singles. She combined with sophomore Guntra Upeniece (Riga, Latvia) to double up Albis and Edelmann, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles.
- Dwyer was victorious against Serkes at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
- Freshman Katelyn Nichols (Manchester, N.H.) took down Posada at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

- Southern New Hampshire's 5-1 start matches its record to begin the 2019-20 campaign.
- The Penmen lead the all-time series with Saint Michael's, 18-8, and have now won 10 straight meetings.
