Junior Taylor Marchman (Derry, N.H.) scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season to lead SNHU Field Hockey to a 2-1 win at American International College on Tuesday night in Springfield, Mass.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Penmen took a 1-0 lead late in the first period. Freshman Annemartine Christis ('S-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands), on consecutive penalty corners, hit the post with blasts from the top of the circle. On the second try, Marchman was there to knock home the rebound.
- American International's lone goal came at 4:37 of the second and was scored by Nadia Elcock.
- With time running down in the third quarter, SNHU's Marchman found a loose ball in front of the net and knocked in the game-winner.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen outshot the Yellow Jackets 17-11, and each team had eight shots on goal.
- SNHU had a 9-6 advantage on penalty corners.
NOTES
- SNHUÂ snapped a three-game losing streak with the win in Springfield.
- The Penmen had dropped a 3-2 non-conference decision to the Yellow Jackets in the season-opener on Sept. 2.  The all-time series is now even at 4-4.
- Marchman has now scored six goals in her last six games, and her seven goals now top the squad.
