Saint Anselm College put a 23rd-minute goal on the board, which ended up being all it needed in a 1-0 upset of the 12th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team Thursday afternoon at Melucci Field.

  • SNHU leads the all-time series with Saint Anselm, 22-12-5, and is unbeaten in four of the last six meetings (3-2-1), despite not having defeated the Hawks in three straight (0-2-1). The last win in the series for the Penmen came Sept. 13, 2017 (3-0), while the last road victory against their crosstown rival was Oct. 26, 2016 (5-3). Saint Anselm is unbeaten in seven of the last 10 meetings (5-3-2).
