#16 Southern New Hampshire women's soccer earned the top-seed in the upcoming NE10 tournament, completing the regular season with a 2-0 win over American International College on Wednesday afternoon at Penmen Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
- Senior Amberly Mentz (La Mirada, Calif.) found the net with a header off a pass from senior Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) at 12:02 to put the Penmen up 1-0.
- The Penmen added an insurance goal at 76:25 on a left-footed blast by senior Oriane Hoeman (Burlington, Mass.). The kick came off a pass from junior Jordan Butters (Beverly, Mass.).

- Senior goalkeeper Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) stopped both shots she faced and recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
- SNHU dominated AIC in shots, 26-2, including a 15-2 edge in shots on target.

- Southern New Hampshire, which is ranked 16th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II National Top 25 Poll, snapped a two-game losing streak after starting the season with a 13-game unbeaten streak – the longest to start a campaign for the program since 1989.
- The Penmen claim the program's first NE10 Regular-Season Championship and No. 1 seed for the upcoming NE10 Championship, which begins Sunday.
