Graduate student Kate Pigsley (East Kingston, N.H.) made three saves Saturday night, but the Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to the University of New Haven at DellaCamera Stadium.

- Reilly Bialko opened the scoring for New Haven just 4:41 in off an assist from Abby Nixon.
- Nixon then doubled the Charger lead just 7:40 before halftime with a goal of her own off a rebound in front.

- Shots were even at 16-all, with the Chargers holding a slight 5-4 edge in shots on target.

- This is New Haven's first win ever against SNHU, which had entered the contest 3-0 against the Chargers and had outscored them, 20-1.
