SNHU senior Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) finished as the top runner for the team on Saturday at the NEICAAA Cross Country Championship in Boston.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Logan's time for the 8k was 26:31, good for 73rd place in a field of 161.
- Senior Andrew Derry (Keene, N.H.) ran 28:23.2 for 141st place for the 8k.
- The other scorers for SNHU on Saturday were junior Liam Walker (Attleboro, Mass.), senior Luke Hogan (Litchfield, N.H.), and sophomore Kody Gagnon (Tolland, Conn.).
NOTES
- Walker ran a PR for the Penmen with a 28:57.3, finishing just ahead of Hogan, who ran 29:02.6. Gagnon finished in 31:42.9.
- The Dartmouth men won the race, finishing with 60 points. American International College had the top two finishers, finishing second overall (78 points). Brown wound up third.
- AIC junior Ezra Mutai won the race in 23:56.4, finishing 27 seconds ahead of second-place teammate freshman Callum Elson.
