Men's Soccer Secures NE10 Quarterfinal Home Match with 3-1 Win Versus Stonehill

Graduate student Kwesi Allen (Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago) recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team to a 3-1 victory against Stonehill College on Wednesday night at Penmen Stadium, securing a first-round home game in the NE10 postseason.

KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire jumped out to a 1-0 lead 13:00 into the match when Pinhancos buried a feed from junior Mathis Daury (Tours, France).
  • After Stonehill gained the equalizer with 5:23 on the clock before the break, SNHU went in front for good early in the 63rd minute, as Allen's initial shot was stopped, but Chibout made sure the rebound opportunity found the back of the net to make it 2-1.
  • Allen added insurance just 25 seconds later off a setup from graduate student Jaime Selva (Alicante, Spain),
