Results: Southern New Hampshire University – 5th of 7 (115)

SNHU senior Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) finished third overall to lead SNHU in the season-opening meet on Saturday at Saint Anselm College.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
  • Logan's time for the 8k was 27.54.7.  He had finished ninth overall in the last running of the Shacklette in 2019.
  • Senior Andrew Derry (Keene, N.H.) finished second on the team, and 20th overall in 28:52.6.
  • Also scoring for the Penmen on Saturday were junior J T Gulick (Norwalk, Conn.), senior Luke Hogan (Litchfield, N.H.), and sophomore Kody Gagnon (Tolland, Conn.).
NOTES
  • The SNHU men had won the Shacklette in both 2018 and 2019.    Stonehill had five of the top 11 runners to claim the title this year.  Adelphi University finished in second.
  • The race winner was Jason Beaver of American International College, who ran the reconfigured course in in 27:41.7.
