Graduate student Kwesi Allen (Port of Spain Trinidad & Tobago) scored in the 80th minute, but the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team lost a hard-fought, 2-1 decision to Adelphi University on Saturday night at Penmen Stadium.

  • Rodrigo Descalzo Rocca snapped the scoreless deadlock with a goal in the 69th minute and then doubled the Adelphi lead in the 75th.
  • Allen made it a one-goal game with 10:50 remaining.

  • Daniel De La Heras made one save for Adelphi.
  • The Panthers outshot the Penmen, 18-5, including 8-2 in shots on target, and held an 8-7 edge in corner kicks.
