Georgian Court University scored early in the 27th minute and it would prove to be all the offense that was needed, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team opened the season with a 1-0 defeat Saturday afternoon at the GCU Track & Field Complex.

- The Lions went ahead, 1-0, 26:07 into the contest when Jack Guiton sent a long pass from midfield that was collected by Louis Silva, who went on a breakaway before finishing the scoring opportunity.
