(Hooksett, N.H.) --- Five different players scored goals and senior JT Kossakowski (Elburn, Ill.) stopped 33 shots as SNHU held off Franklin Pierce 5-4 Monday night at the Ice Den. The Penmen earned a win in the season series with the Ravens.

KEY MOMENTS
- For the second consecutive game, the Ravens had a 1-0 lead after one period. Unlike Saturday, when they scored in the closing seconds, they tallied just 47 seconds into the game on a goal by Ryan Gorbett.
- SNHU scored four times in the second period, taking a 4-2 lead to the final stanza.
- Monreal's first goal of the season came off assists from linemates senior Andy Somerville (Medford, Mass.) and junior Ryan Coady (Braintree, Mass.).
- The game-winning power-play goal was scored by senior Alex Ring (Salem, N.H.). The defenseman's blast from the top was assisted by Fiorino and Cox.
- SNHU extended the lead on a one-timer by freshman Ethan Rodriguez (Sioux City, Iowa) at 16:16 of the second period.
- The Ravens cut the lead to 3-2 on a goal by Cody Rumsey, but SNHU responded with with four seconds left in the period when Cox tipped in a shot from junior George Thurston (Plymouth, Mass.)
- Freshman Jack Gray (Lowell, Mass.) gave the Penmen a 5-2 lead at 16:32 of the final period (assisted by Fiorino and Monreal).
- Two late goals by Chris Stevenson of Franklin Pierce pulled the Ravens within one with 1:23 to play, but they were unable to score the equalizer.
