Freshman Phillip Herrmann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) broke a 0-0 tie early in the second half with his third goal of the season and SNHU Men's Soccer went on to a 3-0 win at the University of New Haven on Saturday.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Penmen had two scoring chances in the first 45 minutes.
- The first came on a shot by sophomore Isnaba Namusse (Fogo, Cape Verde) on a header off a corner that was saved by New Haven's Ryan Lunn.
- In the 33rd minute, junior Sam Johnson (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) drilled a shot from a low right angle that was saved to keep the contest scoreless.
- The Penmen pressed to start the second half, scoring a quick goal when Silva entered a pass that Herrman cleaned up for a 1-0 lead.
- SNHU made it 2-0 less than three minutes later when a beautiful touch pass from Gonzalez led Daury into his first career goal.
- Pinhancos added a late goal, his first of the season.
