SNHU graduate student Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) ran to victory at Friday's Adelphi Short Course Showdown, helping lead the team to a strong third-place finish.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Logan won the race in 15:07.2. His finished 17 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
- Freshman Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.) finished second among SNHU runners for the fourth consecutive meet. He ran 15:27.0, good for third place.
- Sophomore Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) finished 15th in 15:52.3.
- Senior Liam Walker (Attleboro, Mass.) - 16:49.1 and 39th place
- Junior Kody Gagnon (Tolland, Conn.) -16:58.6 in 43rd place.
NOTES
- The Short Course Showdown was contested at 5k (3.11 miles). Logan's pace was 4:51.7 per mile.
- Adelphi hosted the Friday event---and this course will also be utilized for the NCAA East Regional on Sat. Nov. 19.
- Stony Brook (44) and American International College (49) finished ahead of the Penmen.
- SNHU entered the meet as the USTFCCCA fourth ranked team in the East Region in the latest weekly poll.
