Senior Taylor Marchman (Derry, N.H.) scored her first goal of the season, but Franklin Pierce rallied in the second half to beat SNHU 2-1 in a non-conference field hockey game Tuesday night on Larkin Field.

KEY MOMENTS
  • The Penmen took a 1-0 lead with 3:49 left in the first quarter.  A long feed from Canfield found the stick of Marchman for the goal.
  • The Ravens tied the game in the third quarter on a goal by Caity Hazley.
  • Just 72 seconds later, Franklin Pierce won with a player-up goal by Christine Jarowicz.
  • The Penmen had a penalty corner with 30 seconds to play in the game, but failed to get off a shot.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • The Penmen had a 21-5 shot advantage in the first half, including 17-3 on net.
  • For the game, SNHU's advantage was 32-17 and 22-12 on goal.

  • Franklin Pierce snapped a five-game win streak by the Penmen in the series.  SNHU leads the all-time series 5-4.

  • The Penmen will travel to Adelphi University for a 3 p.m. game on Thursday before heading to Franklin Pierce on Saturday.
