SNHU graduate student Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) led the Penmen with a personal record run, helping the team to an 11th place finish Saturday at the New England Championships in Boston.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS

• Logan's time was 24:47.2, the second fastest time for 8k in program history.  He finished fourth in the race.
• Freshman Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.) finished second among SNHU runners for the third consecutive meet.  He ran 25:55.10, good for 39th place.
• Also scoring for the Penmen were--
• Sophomore Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) - 26:17.9 (new PR) and 59th place
• Freshman Zak Laverdiere (Seekonk, Mass.) - 27:07.6 and 80th place
• Junior Kody Gagnon (Tolland, Conn.) -27:20.2 and 87th place
• Also competing was senior Liam Walker (Attleboro, Mass.) - 28:55.4 and 124th place

NOTES

• The NEICAAA brings together athletes from Division I and II programs.  SNHU finished tops among the Div. II programs in the race.
• UMass Amherst (92) points won the men's competition with Northeastern University (107) in second place.
• Dartmouth's Seth Weprin finished first (24:40.4) with Alec Troxwell (Maine) and James Sullivan (Central Connecticut) finishing ahead of Logan.
