Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) finished second and the SNHU men turned in a fifth place finish at Saturday's NCAA East Regional in Farmingdale, N.Y.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Logan ran a 31:41.10 to finish second.
- Sophomore Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) – 32:03.90 and finished tenth
- Freshman Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.) - 32:58.10 and finished 26th
- Freshman Zak Laverdiere (Seekonk, Mass.) – 33:42.90 and finished 37th
- Junior Kody Gagnon (Toland, Conn.) - 33:51.90 and finished 42nd
- Senior J. T. Gulick (Norwalk, Conn.) - 34:29.90 and finished 60th
- Senior Liam Walker (Attleboro, Mass.) - 34:40.20 and finished 63rd
NOTES
- Southern Connecticut State (53 points), Franklin Pierce University (65 points), Roberts Wesleyan (100 points) and American International College (101 points) finished ahead of the Penmen.
- Wondu Summa of Franklin Pierce finished first in 31:27.70.+
- The three Penmen who had previously run the 10k distance all set new personal records – Logan, Gagnon and Walker.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The NCAA Men's Division II Cross Country Championship will be held on Fri. December 2 in Seattle, Washington with Logan representing the Penmen.
