Junior Derek Flynn (Dracut, Mass.) scored at 6:33 of the third period to break a tie, leading SNHU to a 2-1 win at Saint Michael's College in ice hockey action on Saturday afternoon.  Sophomore Ryan Clear (Cherry Hill, N.J.) also scored for the Penmen.

KEY MOMENTS
 

• Saint Michael's took a 1-0 lead at 17:53 of the first period on a goal by Jack Bavis, who picked off a pass inside the blue line, and buried the shot.
• SNHU tied the game at 1-1 at 7:23 of the second period on a power-play goal by Clear, who roofed a shot from the left point.
• Flynn scord the game-winner who took a pass from Coady and hit the one-timer.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• SNHU outshot Saint Michael's 59-27 for the contest.
• The Penmen went 1-for-5 on the power-play, while the Purple Knights were 0-for-2.

 
NOTES

• The goal for Flynn was the first of his career and Clear scored his first of the season and second for SNHU.
• Saint Michael's leads the all-time series with the Penmen 45-27-6.  The teams split the weekend series after the Purple Knights won 7-2 on Friday.
