Karlee Ziliak (Evansville, Ind.) added 20 points as SNHU won 81-69 at Bentley University on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Penmen move into a first-place tie with the Falcons in the Northeast-10's Northeast Division.

KEY MOMENTS
- Timberlake helped set the stage for a strong start with a three-pointer, a defensive rebound, and a driving lay-up for a 5-0 lead.
- Five consecutive points by New Haven's Briana Van Cleaf gave the Chargers its largest lead of the night at 13-9 with 3:52 left in the first quarter.
- Treys by Timberlake and graduate student Gyanna Russell (E. Hampton, Conn.), and strong defense, rallied the Penmen to a 15-13 lead heading to the second period.
- SNHU would outscore New Haven 34-18 over the middle two quarters as the lead grew to 18 points.
- The Penmen did turn the ball over nine times in the fourth quarter, but held off the Chargers with 7-of-8 free throw shooting in the period.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Knollmeyer hit a lay-up just 18 seconds into the game, and scored 10 in the first quarter as SNHU led 20-16 at the break.
- Ziliak hit for 12 of her 20 points after the intermission, including all four free throws.
- SNHU shot 28-for-60 (46.7%) to Bentley's 26-for-67 (37.7%).
- Bentley did hit 8-of-25 from three-point range compared to 4-for-15 for the Penmen.
- SNHU had a 46-35 edge in rebounds, and a 44-32 advantage on points in the paint.
- Each team had 17 assists in the contest.
NOTES
- The Penmen outscored Bentley in all four quarters and never trailed in the game.
- It was the 13th double-double of the season for Knollmeyer, including her fourth in-a-row.
- The 12 points for Sirois was a career-best. She had scored 11 points earlier this season against Adelphi University.
- 1,000-point scorer graduate student Gyanna Russell (E. Hampton, Conn.) was limited to five minutes in the first quarter.
- It's the second time in five seasons that SNHU has recorded a sweep of the Falcons in the regular season. Bentley leads the all-time series 45-8.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Penmen play the third of four consecutive road games on Monday, Feb. 14 at NE10 Southwest lead Le Moyne (1:30 p.m.).
- SNHU's final regular season home game is Saturday, February 19 (1:30 p.m.) when they play host to Stonehill College at the Stan Spirou Field House. SNHU will honor its seniors and the Penmen will pay tribute to the late Ernie Greenberg, the longtime public address announcer.
- Fans attending will be required to a face mask, regardless of vaccination status. The concession stand will be closed.
