Ryan Coady (Braintree, Mass.) scored in overtime to give SNHU a 4-3 win at Stonehill College. The Penmen clinched the Northeast-10 regular season title for the first time in 16 years. Senior
Phil Heisse (Overland Park, Kan.) added a goal and assist on Wednesday afternoon at the Bridgewater Ice Arena.

KEY MOMENTS
- Coady's game-winner came at 4:06 of the extra period. Quigley took a wrap-around shot that was poked into Coady's skate for the game-winner.
- Heisse tied the score at 17:41 of the first period with his third goal of the season less than a minute after Stonehill had scored.
- Quigley put the Penmen in front 2-1 at 8:38 of the second period who took a pass from Heisse, and scored on a breakaway.
- Stonehill took the lead with just under six minutes to play on the second goal of the game by John Peloso.
- Rodriguez tied it for the Penmen just 22 seconds later, and the teams played even for the rest of regulation.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- SNHU outshot Stonehill for the game 46-30, including 14-5 in the third period, and 4-0 in the overtime 3-on-3 session.
- The only penalty of the game, on SNHU freshman Jack Gray (Lowell, Mass.) for hooking at 12:19 of the second period, did not result in a goal.
- Senior Adam Mercer (Belchertown, Mass.) started in net for the third consecutive contest, and improves to 11-2 on the season. He made 27 saves.
NOTES
- The Penmen swept the season series with Stonehill and lead the all-time series 46-39-3.
- SNHU finished the 2005-06 season as regular season co-champ with Saint Anselm. The only time SNHU had previously won an outright title was in 1999-2000, the first year of competition as the NE10.

- SNHU will conclude the season series with Saint Anselm College with a home-and-home set starting Friday at 7:40 p.m. at The Ice Den in Hooksett, N.H. The Penmen will take time to recognize 11 athletes playing a final regular-season game at home.
