Records: West Chester University of Pennsylvania 8-4, SNHU 4-10 
(Winter Haven F.L.) -- Freshman Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) hit a two-run homer and scored 3 runs, but SNHU dropped its final doubleheader of their Florida road trip to West Chester University of Pennsylvania with scores of 5-2 and 7-2 (8 inn.). The Penmen fall to 4-10 on the season. 

KEY MOMENTS - GAME 1
 
  • West Chester jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the second inning. 
  • Resetar hit a two-run homerun in the top of the fifth inning to score SNHU's only runs of the game. 
  • WCU scored one more run in the bottom of the 6th to pull ahead 5-2. 
  • SNHU senior Jessica Johnston (Brussels, Ontario) (0-3) allowed two hits and 3 runs, in the loss. 
KEY MOMENTS - GAME 2 
  • WCU scored in the top of the first on a sac fly from junior Grace Aguilar. 
  • SNHU tied the game in the bottom of the third inning on a sacrifice fly by graduate student Chloe Griffin (Scarborough, Maine) to score Resetar. 
  • The game went into extra innings, but WCU scored six in the top of the 8th to take a 6-1 lead.  
  • The Penmen scored one run in the bottom of the 8th on a sac fly from sophomore Bella Dickinson (Scarborough, Maine) to score sophomore Aly Dimauro (Chester, N.H.), but could not complete the rally, falling 7-2 to complete their Florida road series. 
  • Griffin (0-3) pitched the full game and allowed eight hits and seven runs in the loss.  
UP NEXT 
  • SNHU returns home to host their first double header of the season on Thursday, March 24 against Queens College. The Penmen will play at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Both games will take place at the SNHU Softball Field in Hooksett, N.H.
