Idelson Taveras (Lawrence, Mass.) went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored to lift the 10
th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University baseball team to Monday afternoon's 9-2 win over Assumption University at New England Baseball Complex. The Penmen have won three straight and nine of their last 10 games.

KEY MOMENTS:
- The Penmen scored first as Henrie blasted a home run to center field in the home half of the first to make it 1-0.
- Taveras added to the SNHU lead in the second inning with a 2-run homer to left field that plated Kennedy to make it 3-0.
- The Greyhounds rallied with a pair of runs on three hits in the top of the fourth to cut it to 3-2.
- SNHU broke it open with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Most of the damage was done by a single by Taveras and a 2-run double by Kennedy to make it 8-2.
- The Penmen would add an insurance run on an RBI single by Taveras in the home half of the seventh to close our scoring.
- Roberge went the first seven innings allowing two runs on seven hits as he improved to 2-1. Trevor Anibal (Bedford, N.H.) and Ricky Alexy (Needham, Mass.) each pitched a perfect inning to shut the door on Assumption.

- SNHU travels to NE10 foe Adelphi University next weekend for a three-game set. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 19 (12, 3 p.m.) and a single game on Sunday, March 20 (1 p.m.)
