(Hooksett, N.H.) -- The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team posted a convincing 7-0 win over Assumption University in the NE10 action on Tuesday.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- No. 1 Freshman Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) won 6-3, 6-2.
- No. 2 Freshman Thomas Guy (Fulda, Germany) won 6-1, 6-2
- No. 3 Fernando Torres (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) won 6-1, 6-0.
- No. 4 Boris Stastny (Prague, Czech Republic) won in straight sets; 6-3, 7-5.
- No. 5 Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) won in perfect fashion, 6-0, 6-0.
- Lastly, Jeremie Bolduc (Manchester, N.H.) made his Penmen debut and won 6-3, 6-4.
- The Penmen won the double points by sweeping all three matches 6-0. Berling/Guy won at No. 1 doubles, Torres/Nadeau won at No. 2 doubles, while senior Emmanuel Vacalares (Cagayan de Oro, Philippines) and junior Noah Dubitzky (Marlboro, Conn.) won at No. 3 doubles.
NOTES
- SNHU won five-straight against Assumption dating back to 2016 and have won those matches by a combined scored of 41-0.
- Berling is 6-0 in singles for the Penmen.
- Guy is 6-0 in his career for SNHU.
- SNHU's 6-0 start matches the best start since 2016-17, when the Penmen were also 6-0 through their first six matches.
