Mansfield, Mass. -- Senior
Anna Casagrande (Pelham, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire women's golf team was selected as the NE10 Player of the Week for the period ending April 6, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon. It was the first player of the week award of Casagrande's career.
Casagrande fired rounds of 81 and 80 at the Hartford/Wintonbury Hills event and finished 29
th out of 52 golfers on Sunday at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course. In a field loaded with Division I golfers, Casagrande was the highest division II finisher in the field. If Casagrande does not advance, it will be the final event for the SNHU women's golf program.
