Senior Jordan Butters (Beverly, Mass.) and junior Nida Orloff (Leicester, Mass.) each notched three points to lead the 13th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Assumption University in NE10 play Saturday afternoon at Penmen Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
- Butters put the Penmen ahead, 1-0, 7:14 before halftime when she ran on to a ball served into the near side of the box from senior Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) and headed it inside the right post.
- Greene doubled the Penmen lead 5:05 into the second half when her corner service caromed off the head of an Assumption defender and into the net to make it 2-0.
- The Greyhounds sliced their deficit in half 95 seconds later, but Orloff added insurance in the 81st minute, heading home a rebound from senior Alyssa McCarthy (Stoneham, Mass.), whose own header off a corner service hit the crossbar and appeared to break the plane of the goal, but carried right out to Orloff for the no-doubter.

- Southern New Hampshire, ranked 13th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, begins the season 5-0-0 for the second straight campaign and just the third time since 1994.
- The Penmen extended their scoreless streak to 411:39 to begin the season, prior to the Greyhounds scoring at the 51:40 mark. Rose ran her personal shutout streak to 302:16 before the goal.
- SNHU, which leads the all-time series with Assumption, 18-11-5, is now unbeaten in six of the last seven against the Greyhounds and has won three straight. The Penmen had not allowed a goal to Assumption since Nov. 2, 2018, a span of 268:05. SNHU is unbeaten in seven of the last eight (5-1-2) home meetings with the Greyhounds dating back to Oct. 22, 2011.
- For the season, SNHU has a 14-1 scoring advantage and a 87-27 margin in shots.
- Orloff now leads the team in points (8) and is tied for the lead in goals (3), in her first season with the Penmen.
- Butters' goal was her first of the season and the 10th of her career, while Greene's was the second of her rookie campaign.
