Tim Usalis (Danvers, Mass.) scored a pair of goals in the second period, but the Penmen fell 6-3 to Assumption University on Friday night at The Ice Den Arena.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring at 3:24 of the first period when William Smith scored the first of his two goals.
- SNHU used three second-period power-play goals to take a 3-1 lead after the second intermission.
- Thurston tipped a shot by Quigley into the net at 7:53. Senior James Nash (Hampton, N.H.) also assisted on that goal.
- Usalis gave the Penmen a 2-1 lead at 11:25 of the period when he scored his third of the season. Assists went to freshman Brendan Lynch (Nepean, Ont.) and junior Derek Flynn (Dracut, Mass.)
- Usalis converted again at 18:33, collecting the puck off a short-handed bid by the Greyhounds, skating down the left boards, and scoring from a low angle.
- Assumption earned the comeback win with four goals in the first three minutes of the final period.

- Each team took 33 shots in the contest.
- SNHU went 3-for-9 on the power play. The Greyhounds were 2-for-6.
