- The game's lone score came at 6:27 of the second period. William Roberts won a faceoff in the Penmen zone and sent the puck to Thomas McGaffigan. A pass to Camron Roberts set up his game-winner slap shot.
- Mercer stopped 18 shots in the middle period, but SNHU did not cash in on its one power-play opportunity in the second.
