KEY MOMENTS
  • The game was tied just over a minute-and-a-half in when Southern New Hampshire ripped off a 14-2 run over the following two minutes to open an 18-6 advantage with 16:30 remaining in the opening half. Becht drilled three straight 3-pointers during the stretch, with Okwuosa capping the run with a triple of his own.
  • Saint Anselm had whittled the deficit to eight at 25-17 at the midway point of the frame when another trey from Becht triggered an 8-0 rush that gave the Penmen their largest lead of the night at 33-17 with 7:56 to go. Kodi scored the other five points during the run.
  • After chipping away and lowering its halftime deficit to 45-36, Saint Anselm opened the second half with five straight points to make it a four-point game less than two-and-a-half minutes in.
  • The Hawks used a 22-6 burst later in the stanza to go in front, 67-57, with 5:50 left. The Penmen would counter with six straight to again make it a four-point game with 4:28 on the clock, but that was as close as they would get, as eight-in-a-row from the visitors ran the lead to 12 at 75-63 with just under two minutes to go.
