KEY MOMENTS
- Saint Anselm led, 24-19, in the opening set when two Thawnghmung kills and a pair of Dias service aces powered a 5-0 Southern New Hampshire run that evened the score. The Hawks scored the next two, however, to go up, 1-0, in the match.
- SNHU led, 9-7, in the second set when it scored 15 of the next 23 to open up a 24-16 advantage. A Pimenta kill leveled the match, 1-1.
- In the third, Saint Anselm was up, 24-20, when three straight pulled the Penmen with a point, but a Melis Kocak kill handed the visitors a 2-1 advantage.
- In the fourth frame, SNHU looked like it was on its way to forcing a fifth set, as it jumped out to a 9-2 lead on the strength of two Thawnghmung kills and a pair of Wilson aces, but Saint Anselm would use a 10-1 burst later in the set to go in front, 13-12. The back-and-forth continued, with the Penmen taking a 24-22 advantage, but the Hawks would record the final four points to rally and take the match.

- SNHU outhit Saint Anselm in the middle two sets, but the Hawks held a .208-.207 edge, overall.
- The Penmen owned a 10-9 advantage in blocks, while the Hawks returned the favor in aces (11-10).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire had won two straight.
- Saint Anselm has won 10 of the last 15 meetings, but SNHU has also captured four of the last six tilts dating back to 2021. The Penmen had been victorious in two straight at home, last losing to the Hawks there Sept. 21, 2021 (3-0).
