Sophomore Carly Schofield (Plymouth, Mass.) scored a pair of first-half goals to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over the University of New Haven on Saturday afternoon at Zolad Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire struck first at the 9:59 mark when Greene received a pass from Thompson and sent a long shot over the New Haven goalkeeper.
  • Schofield made it 2-0 early in the 18th minute when she collected a long Michael feed and made a far run to find the back of the net.
  • The Penmen widened the gap to 3-0 in the 32nd minute, as Thyssen's pass split a pair of defenders to set up Schofield's second of the day.
  • The Chargers would make it on the board early in the 72nd minute on Janayah Body's shot to the top corner.
