Freshman Coleman Nee (Arlington, Mass.) and sophomore Kurt Watson (London, Ont.) staked SNHU to a 2-0 lead, but Rivier scored five goals in the third period to beat the Penmen 6-2 Tuesday night in Nashua, N.H.

KEY MOMENTS

• The Penmen took a 1-0 lead with just 1:02 left in the first period. 
• Nee found the net with a short-range slap shot after receiving a feed from behind the net by Marchant.
• Watson made it 2-0 at 7:23 of the second period when he collected a pass from Gray, who flipped it from behind the net.
• Rivier hit the board with just 22 seconds remaining in the second period on a goal by Jack Tos.
• It took the Raiders just 5:47 of the third period to score a power-play goal that tied the game at 2-2.
• Rivier took its first lead at 9:18 by converting a turnover in the Penmen zone by Alfred Rotiroti.
• The Raiders added three goals in the final 4:43 of the contest.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Rivier had a 38-27 shot advantage for the contest.
• The Penmen continued to struggle on the power-play, going 0-6.  The Raiders were 1-3.
• Luke Newell earned the win in goal for Rivier, while freshman Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) took the loss.

• Nee and Watson each tallied a first career goal with the Penmen program.
• Rivier, which started its program in 2021, improves to 4-1 against the Penmen.

• The Penmen will play a pair of NE10 games at Franklin Pierce Friday (6:00 p.m.) and Saturday (5:30 p.m.).
