The Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team fell to Adelphi University, 1-0 at Motamed Field on Thursday afternoon in the Northeast-10 Semifinals.

- The teams played a scoreless first half.
- The only goal of the game came just 3:07 into the second half.
- The Panthers came up with a loose ball in Penmen territory, feeding Goodrich for a deep blast in the middle of the field that found the top of the net.
- Schofield appeared to score a game-tying goal with 55 seconds to go, but a hand ball call negated the score.
- Alicio came out of the net to deny graduate student Victoria Roulston (East Falmouth, Mass.) an opportunity with 15 seconds remaining.

- Adelphi had a 7-4 advantage on corner kicks.
NOTES
- The Penmen had been unbeaten in the last eight contests (6-0-2).
- Adelphi had also won the regular-season meeting with the Penmen 1-0 and the Panthers lead the all-time series 20-11-2.Â
- This was the third meeting in the Northeast-10 tournament between the schools. The Penmen won the 2012 championship match 1-0 over the Panthers.
- The Penmen are now 53-23-18 (.660) over their last 94 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 season and have made five consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament.
- Adelphi advances to the NE10 Championship game for the second consecutive season.
