Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) scored with 1:25 remaining in overtime to lift Southern New Hampshire to a 3-2 win over Assumption University in the regular season finale Saturday in Worcester.

- Quigley put the Penmen in front 1-0 just 2:57 into the first period. The goal was set up with a steal in the neutral zone which led to his backhand flip.
- Just after the start of an SNHU power play, senior George Thurston (Plymouth, Mass.) won the face-off and fed Amante for a deep slap-shot which gave the Penmen a 2-0 lead.
- The Greyhounds battled back to tie with goals in the second and third periods. Shane Sullivan's marker at 1:00 of the third period made it 2-2.
- Loisel stood tall to make three consecutive saves on Assumption chances with about two minutes to play in the overtime session.  On the break-out, Flynn found Pomposelli for the game-winner.

- SNHU went 1-for-6 on the power play and Assumption was 0-for-3.
- Assumption had 56 shots on goal and the Penmen had 43.

NOTES
- The Penmen won the final four NE10 games to secure fourth place in the standings.
- The Greyhounds, the defending NE10 champs, will be the three seed and host Post.
- Saint Anselm is the regular season champ, and Saint Michael's the runner-up. The Hawks and Purple Knights earn first-round byes.
- Assumption and SNHU split the four games played this season, while the Penmen lead the all-time series 42-38-5.
