Knight's four points led the way during the larger stretch, with six different Penmen scoring at least two points. SNHU held an 18-9 advantage at the end of one.
  • Adelphi ripped off a 14-2 run over the opening 4:38 of the second quarter to grab a 23-20 lead. The teams would go into the break tied, 29-29.

  • Adelphi scored five straight in the first 95 seconds of the fourth quarter to expand its lead to 50-42. It was a six-point game more than two minutes later when a Knight layup sparked a 6-0 burst that knotted the game at 54-all with 4:26 to play.

NOTES
  • After winning 10-in-a-row, Southern New Hampshire has alternated losses and wins for the last six games. The Penmen are all alone in third place in the NE10 standings, a half-game back of second-place Le Moyne College and a full game behind first-place Assumption University.
  • The all-time series is now tied, 8-8, after SNHU won its second straight against Adelphi, which had captured eight of nine against the Penmen before this short losing skid. The win also snaps a five-game losing streak for Southern New Hampshire in Garden City, beating the Panthers on their home floor for the first time since Jan. 21, 2012 (81-74). SNHU, which also defeated Adelphi at home back on Nov. 30 (79-74), sweeps the regular-season series in the first year the teams have ever met twice during the regular season.
  • Roche's previous career high was 17 points in a home win against the University of Bridgeport on Dec. 1, 2019.
  • Knight has scored in double figures in all 18 contests she has played in this season, while Timberlake has reached 10-plus points in 17 of 20.
  • SNHU is 36-12 (.750) since the start of the 2021-22 season.
