KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire grabbed a 2-0 lead in the third on RBI singles from redshirt-junior Cristian Mercedes (Providence, R.I.) and Schwartz.
- Passey doubled the lead in the fourth with a two-run home run to score O'Sullivan, who led off the frame with a double.
- The Penmen added two more runs in the sixth on RBI singles from Burgos and O'Sullivan.
- A run-scoring single in the sixth from LaRocca made it 7-0.
- SNHU broke it wide open by hanging a six-spot in the seventh. Burgos' two-run homer extended the lead to 9-0, before a two-run Rivera single stretched it to 11-0. An RBI groundout by LaRocca and a Lavigne pinch-hit, RBI single brought the score to 13-0.

- The Penmen sweep the three-game series from Fairmont State in the first meeting between the two programs. The second game of Sunday's scheduled doubleheader was canceled due to weather.
- The home runs for Burgos and Passey were their second of the year in their first season with the Penmen.
