Abby Lineman (Doylestown, Pa.) went 4-for-5 and drove in seven runs, and senior
Bryn Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) also had four hits, driving in five, as SNHU won 17-10 at Chestnut Hill College Sunday.

KEY MOMENTS
- Chestnut Hill pounced early, taking a 7-0 lead after one inning.
- DiMauro singled and scored on a double by Lineman in the top of the second for the first SNHU run of the day.
- Lineman doubled in two more runs in the fourth inning to cut the lead to 7-3.
- The Penmen added a run on a pair of errors by the Griffins in the fifth before exploding with a ten-run sixth inning to take the lead for the first time.
- 16 SNHU hitters came to bat in the big inning which included RBI hits by junior Shannon Gifford (Goffstown, N.H.), senior Abi Gray (Litchfield, N.H.), Lineman, junior Ari Ferrier (Middletown, Mass.), and Garczynski.
- Three consecutive singles by sophomore Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.), DiMauro, and Gray loaded the bases in the seventh. Lineman followed with a two-run single, and Garczynski knocked in another run to make it 17-7.
- Chestnut Hill scored the game's final runs in the bottom of the seventh.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE – GAME 1
- Lineman knocked in runs with each of her four hits.
- The Penmen outhit the Griffins 22-11.
- Freshman Peyton Feldman (Foxboro, Mass.) went 2-for-5 with 2 runs scored
- Resetar had two hits and two runs scored
- Gray delivered a pair of hits and drew a walk, scoring a run
- Ferrier had two hits and scored two runs.
NOTES
- This was the first meeting between SNHU and Chestnut Hill.
- The teams agreed to cancel the scheduled second game of the doubleheader due to cold, windy conditions.
- For the third consecutive game (all wins), the Penmen set season-highs for runs and hits.
- The 17 runs were the most in a game for the Penmen since April 1, 2019 (22 vs. Franklin Pierce).
- With the win in the opener, McKechnie improved to 4-3 on the season. She took over in the circle in the first inning and pitched the remainder of the game.
- The seven RBI day for Lineman was the most for an SNHU player since Lindsey Bolduc drove in seven on March 2, 2014 against Lake Erie.

- The Penmen will open conference play with doubleheaders next Sat. (Pace) and Sun. (Adelphi).
