Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) combined for 14 points to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team to a 21-7 victory against Saint Michael's College on Tuesday afternoon at Duffy Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Cole opened the scoring just over a minute in, Saint Michael's scored three straight over the next 3:33 to take a 3-1 lead.
- Southern New Hampshire responded by scoring the final four of the opening quarter to go back in front, 5-3. Graziano recorded two goals and an assist during the stretch.
- The Purple Knights opened the second-quarter scoring 1:23 in, but SNHU scored eight of the next nine in the stanza, including six-in-a-row, to bring a 13-5 advantage into the break. Cole had a hand in five of the nine goals with three tallies and a pair of helpers. DeLucia and Graziano both added a goal and an assist.
- SNHU led, 16-7, after three quarters and then blanked SMC, 5-0, in the fourth quarter behind a pair of Cronin strikes.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Junior goalkeeper Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) stopped three of the eight shots she saw in the opening half, while freshman Megan Mollman (Chester, Md.) turned away three of five bids in the second half.
- Graduate student Catie Derhak (Londonderry, N.H.) scored a pair of goals.
- Senior Skylar Renaud (E. Waterboro, Maine) and sophomore Madison Keating (Milford, N.H.) each found the back of the net. Renaud added two ground balls, four draw controls and a pair of caused turnovers.
- SNHU outshot Saint Michael's, 39-22, including 10-2 in the final frame.
- The Purple Knights held a 17-15 edge in draw controls, while the Penmen returned the favor in ground balls, 25-18.
- SNHU went 17-for-18 on its clear attempts, with SMC going 14-for-15.
- The Penmen were 2-for-6 on their free-position attempts, with the Purple Knights going 1-for-3.
- SMC had 20 of the game's 34 turnovers.
NOTES
- SNHU, which is ranked 24th in the latest ILWomen/Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Poll, has won three of its last four.
- SNHU improves to 17-3 all-time against Saint Michael's and has won eight-in-a-row. The Penmen have also won four straight in Colchester, last losing to the Purple Knights on the road March 21, 2015 (10-12).
- Cole and Graziano both surpassed the 150-point plateau for their careers in the game.
