KEY MOMENTS
- Saint Michael's scored the game's first goal just 22 seconds into the second quarter. Bridgie Loughlin scored from the top off a penalty corner.
- The Purple Knights extended the lead to 2-0 at the 25:00 mark, scoring again off a corner. Madeleine Biondi tipped the blast from Loughlin.
- SNHU's goal came at 55:45 when Wiersma drove the end line and finished five hole.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen dominated the run of play, taking 26 shots to four for Saint Michael's including 14-0 in the second half.
- SNHU had an 8-2 advantage on penalty corners.
- Courtney Watt picked up her first win of the season in goal for the Purple Knights, making 15 saves.
NOTES
- The Penmen recorded a 2-1 win in Manchester on September 9, but that game did not count in the conference standings.
- SNHU still leads the all-time series 10-6. The Penmen had won the last four meetings with the Purple Knights and had not lost in Colchester since 2015.
