Anne Wiersma (Veldhoven, Netherlands) tallied her team-leading third goal of the season, but SNHU field hockey lost 4-1 at #4 Saint Anselm in a non-conference game on Thursday at Grappone Stadium.

- After a scoreless first period, the Hawks took control with two goals in the second quarter.
- The Hawks scored the first goal off a penalty corner at 21:21 with Amanda Lewandowski redirecting a shot from Abby Breznyak into the upper corner of the cage.
- Saint Anselm made it 2-0 less than two minutes later on a goal by Ava Rayfield.
- The teams exchanged goals early in the third period. Abbey Bevens scored for the Hawks, but the Penmen answered on a goal by Wiersma at 39:05.
- Crocombe was able to find Wiersma open on the right side for the marker to finish off the penalty corner to make it 3-1.
- Saint Anselm added a final goal off a penalty corner with a little over six minutes to play when Bevens scored her second of the game, tipping in a shot from Maggie Burchill.
