- The Penmen took a 1-0 lead at 6:40 as Hendricks set-up van de Poll for a backhanded goal.
- After Mercy tied the game at 1-1, the Penmen responded with a goal by Wiersma that would prove to be the game-winner.

- Christis assisted on the only goal in the second quarter. Her shot rebounded in front to Lovejoy to make it 3-1.
