Junior Jeremie Bolduc (Manchester, N.H.) clinched the match wth a No. 6 singles win, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team blanked Eastern Nazarene College, 7-0, Thursday at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
  • Bolduc scored a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles against Diego Torres.
  • Junior Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) pulled out a 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 10-4 win at No. 1 singles against Franco Milvinti. Berling also combined with graduate student Aron Ouwejan (Wervershoof, Netherlands) for a 6-1 No. 2 doubles victory against Carlos Gallardo and Dmitrii Semenov.
  • Senior Jesse Den Hartog (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) downed Semenov, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 2 singles. He and junior Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) teamed up for a 6-0 shutout of Milivinti and Iker Rodriguez to clinch the doubles point at the top flight.
  • Nadeau was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Rodriguez at No. 3 singles.
  • Sophomore Melvin Vix (Thionville, France) blanked Gabriel Guzman, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles. Vix and sophomore Phillipp Roeder (Aystetten, Germany) doubled up Guzman and Javier Bejarano, 6-3, at No. 3 doubles.
  • Freshman Jaden Williams (Green Acres, Fla.) rallied for a 0-6, 6-2, 10-8 win over Bejarano in his first collegiate singles match at No. 5.
NOTES
  • The Penmen now lead the all-time series, 2-0, after producing a 6-1 win at home Sept. 29 of last season.

  • The Penmen return to action Sunday (Oct. 1) at 11 a.m. when they play host to Post University at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.
