SNHU Ice Hockey rallied from down 4-2, but couldn't finish off the comeback, falling 5-4 to Wentworth Institute of Technology Sunday in the consolation game of the Boston Landing Invitational Tournament.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
KEY MOMENTS
- Wentworth took a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal at 7:36 of the first period on a shot by Mitch McGinn.
- The Penmen then responded with a pair of goals within 2:33 late in the period to take the lead.
- Aldrich took a pass from junior Connor Ball (Webster, N.Y.), converting the rebound of the original shot by Flynn.
- Gray picked up a loose puck behind the Leopard net, and slipped it in for SNHU's only lead of the contest 2-1.
- Wentworth tied the game at 2-2 with 1:48 left in the second period while on the power-play, and extended the lead to 4-2 with two more goals in  the first 2:14 of the third period.
- Twardosky potted a rebound, a power-play goal, at 2:53 of the third period to cut the lead to 4-3.
- Muthersbaugh made it 4-4 for SNHU with a power-play goal at 6:19 of the final stanza. He buried a deep slap shot off a pass from senior Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.). Sophomore Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) started the play, collecting a rebound in front of the net and sending the puck out to Amante.
- The game-winning goal for Wentworth came with 2:20 to play on a goal by Jacob Shankar from in close that beat Penmen netminder freshman Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.).

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen were 2-for-5 on the power play and Wentworth was 2-for-4. Â
- SNHU had a 41-29 advantage on face-offs. Gray won 12 of 17 for the game.
- Berke made 23 saves for the Penmen and Jack McGovern stopped 31 shots for Wentworth.

NOTES
- SNHU is 0-7-2 in the last nine meetings with the Leopards, and trail in the all-time series 6-8-3.
- Sunday's contest was the first meeting between the programs since February 14, 2009.
- Muthersbaugh's goal was his first of the season, and third of his career.
- Gray was named to the All-Tournament team.
- Tufts University won the Championship game 5-0 over host Nichols College.
