  • Senior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) – 3 saves

  • The Penmen also doubled up the Panthers in corner kicks, 4-2.
NOTES
  • Southern New Hampshire, ranked 19th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25, have won seven-in-a-row. Adelphi, which had been receiving votes in the poll last week, sees its six-match unbeaten streak (5-0-1) come to an end.
  • The current seven-match win streak is the longest since SNHU opened the 2018 season with nine consecutive wins.
  • The Penmen lead the all-time series with Adelphi, 9-7-0, and have won four straight meetings, including two-in-a-row on the road.
  • Caceres, the NE10 assist leader (7), scores his first goal of the season and third of his career. His nine points rank fourth on the team.
  • Neal improves to 8-1 on the season with a now-career-best seven shutouts – the most in the league. It is the 16th clean sheet of his career, which is one shy of the program's all-time top-10 list.
  • SNHU is 140-38-24 (.752) over its last 202 matches dating back to the beginning of the 2013 National Championship season.
UP NEXT

  • The next home game for SNHU at Ouellette Stadium will be Wednesday, Oct. 23 (1 p.m.) versus Wilmington (Del.) University.
