With the match even at 3-3, graduate student Zuza Krygier (Poznan, Poland) pulled out a three-set victory at No. 4 singles to lift the fourth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team to a 4-3 victory against fifth-seeded Franklin Pierce University in the first round of the NE10 Championship on Wednesday afternoon at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.

NOTES
- Sophomore Justina Haver (Taipei, Taiwan) battled in a three set loss to Polina Giorgieva at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
- Southern New Hampshire snapped its first two-match skid of the season.
- SNHU improves to 18-15 all-time in the NE10 Championship, including 2-1 against the Ravens. The Penmen are in the semifinals for the fourth straight year and for the second consecutive season against the University of New Haven. SNHU won, 4-2, at home last year.
- The Penmen are now 22-6 all-time against Franklin Pierce and have won five straight, including a 5-2 decision at FPU back on Sept. 10. The last Ravens win came in the NE10 Championship semifinals on Oct. 22, 2021 at SNHU (4-0). The Penmen have also won four of their last five at home in the series.
