Senior Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) collected a double-double of 13 kills and 10 digs, but the sixth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team saw its season come to a close with a 3-1 loss to the third-seeded University of New Haven on Tuesday night at Charger Gymnasium.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire went up, 1-0, in the match when a 23-23 tie was snapped by a pair of New Haven errors.
- The Chargers responded by jumping out to a 15-4 lead in the second and cruised the rest of the way to even the match.
- SNHU led, 22-20, in the third, but four straight New Haven points put it up, 24-22. A Wilson kill drew the Penmen within one, but a Charger kill gave the hosts a 2-1 lead.
- UNH was in front, 15-11, in the fourth when it ripped off a 10-3 run to end the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

- Senior Julia Cavalcanti (Vineyard, Utah) tallied four kills, two aces, five blocks and two digs.
- Sophomore Angela Mateos (Seville, Spain) recorded three kills and four blocks.
- Sophomore Jaelyn Miles (Manchester, N.H.) added three kills and a pair of blocks.
- Junior Laura Haas (Londonderry, N.H.) chipped in three aces and six digs.
- New Haven outhit SNHU in the final three sets, as well as .257-.133, overall.
- The Penmen edged the Chargers in blocks (9-8), while UNH returned the favor in aces (11-10).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire ended the regular season with four wins in its last seven matches.
- SNHU dips to 2-8 (.200) all-time in the NE10 Championship, including 0-2 versus New Haven.
- New Haven leads the all-time series, 20-2, and has captured 10 of the last 11. UNH is also 10-1 against the Penmen at home. The Chargers scored a 3-0 home victory back on Oct. 12.
