Goals by junior Tyler Murray (Barre, Vt.) and junior Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) lifted SNHU to a 2-0 win over Franklin Pierce in hockey action Friday night in Hooksett.  Sophomore Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.) recorded his third consecutive shutout in Northeast-10 action.

 KEY MOMENTS
  • Murray's goal at 10:37 of the second period was the game's first goal. 
  • The play started with a long pass into the Raven zone by senior Connor Ball (Webster, N.Y.).  Junior Brendan Lynch (Nepean, Ont.) sent a pass back to Murray for the slap shot that made it 1-0.
  • The game's other goal came in a 5x3 man advantage for the Penmen with freshman Ryan Kayser (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) and junior Kurt Watson (London, Ont.) exchanging passes before a one-timer by Pomposelli found the net at 13:15 of the final period.

  • SNHU had a 50-31 shot advantage over Franklin Pierce.
  • The Penmen went 1-for-6 on the power-play and the Ravens were 0-for-4.
  • SNHU won 52 of 85 faceoffs in the contest.

  • Murray's goal resulted in teddy bears tossed onto the ice, which were collected for Manchester PAL and Jamie's Joy.  
  • It was his third season goal, matching his career-high set in 2023-24.
  • Pomposelli has tallied four times, including three power-play goals this season, tied for the Northeast-10 lead.
  • Lynch has a team-leading eight assists and 11 points.  He won 26 faceoffs and leads the conference with a .628 win percentage.
  • The Penmen have scored a power-play goal in ten of the 11 games this season and have eleven power-play goals to just four allowed.
  • SNHU has a 39-18-7 advantage in the all-time series with Franklin Pierce.
